The Tufin team is flying high this week, with Tufin Orchestration Suite having just been awardedBest in Show at the Best of VMworld Awards, recognizing the most outstanding products on display at VMware’s annual user conference. On top of that, Tufin also took home another gold with first place in the Agility and Automation category. Winners were selected by an independent team of judges consisting of experts and editors from SearchServerVirtualization.com.
In announcing the award, the judges specifically cited Tufin Orchestration Suite for providing “on-the-fly risk analysis to allow understaffed companies be more security-conscious.” These comments call to mind results from a survey that we conducted earlier this year with ESG, in which 63% of respondents said that network security operations have become more difficult over the past two years. We’re helping to address this challenge by enabling our customers to design, provision, analyze and audit security policy changes automatically, easing the burden on network security operations.
Today, one of the biggest factors complicating network security policy management is the migration toward public and private cloud solutions. The same survey found that 49% of respondents felt security teams didn’t have the right level of cloud computing skills to provide the same amount of control and oversight as physical infrastructure. To this point, we were demonstrating our support for VMWare’s private cloud platform, NSX, at VMWorld 2016 to address this particular skillset gap.
